BEAUTY AND THE BEAST BOOK TAG

Hi everyone! I hope you are all well and having an amazing day. Today I’ll be doing the Beauty and the Beast Book Tag! Beauty and the Beast is one of my all time favourite Disney movies, and I absolutely love seeing retellings of it all the time. In honour of my love for it I thought I would do this tag! I found it over on Kirsty and the Cat Read!

“Tale as Old as Time” – A Popular Theme, Trope Or Setting You Will Never Get Bored Of Reading

Oh this definitely has to be enemies to lovers. I’ve read hundreds of books with this trope in, and it never, ever gets old!

Belle – A Book You Bought For It’s Beautiful Cover That’s Just As Beautiful Inside Too

It has to be the Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom Collector’s Editions! They’re stunning!!

Beast – A Book You Didn’t Expect Much From But Pleasantly Surprised You.

For this prompt I have to go with Pestilence by Laura Thalassa. I really wasn’t too sure about this book and I went into it with some reservations but I absolutely loved it and gave it 4.5 stars.

Gaston – A Book Everybody Loves That You Don’t

This is a hard one for me as I’m quite easy to please but I think I’ll have to go with The Book Thief. Don’t get me wrong, I still liked it, but it didn’t have the same impact on me as it has with many others, and there’s similar books that I prefer way more.

Lefou – A Loyal Sidekick You Can’t Help But Love More Than Their Counterpart

The first thing that popped into my head with this prompt was Mr Kindly from the Nevernight series. I like Mia but Mr Kindly is so hilarious at times!

Mrs Potts, Chip, Lumier And Cogswatch – A Book That Helped You Though A Difficult Time.

Throwing it back to the classic YA books here – I’d have to say The Hunger Games and The Mortal Instruments series. Going through all the teenage emotions wasn’t the most fun, but those books really helped me through it!

“Something There” – A Book Or A Series That You Weren’t Into At First But Picked Up Towards The End.

For this I picked the Cruel Prince trilogy by Holly Black. Each book definitely got better and I ended up loving the second and third in the series.

“Be Our Guest”- A Fictional Character You’d Love To Have Over For Dinner.

There are so many! But I would absolutely love to have dinner with Chloe, Dani and Eve Brown from the Brown Sisters series. They would be so much fun and we could have such good chats – they also don’t live too far from me either!

If you want to do this please consider yourself tagged! Let me know what you think of my answers in the comments below!

Happy reading,
Lucy
