Hi guys! I hope you are all well and having an amazing day. Happy New Year’s Eve! This will be my last blog post of 2020. As much as I’m excited to say goodbye to this year, I launched this belong on Jan 1st 2020, which means I have been running Sunstar books pretty much nonstop for 365 days. I’d like to thank you all so much for your support. I genuinely didn’t expect this much love either on my blog or on Twitter, and I’m so grateful. I wanted somewhere to put my reviews, which is essentially why I started the blog, but the community is why I stayed. Thank you all so much. Without further ado, let’s get onto this special New Year’s tag!
Best book/series that you read in 2020
I read over 200 books in 2020, so sorry but this prompt is pretty much impossible for me to answer. However, within the last couple of weeks I have posted my favourite romances, fantasies, historical fiction and debuts of 2020, so if you go onto my blog you will be able to see those lists already published.
Authors that you’ve recently found and would like to read more of in the new year
Ooh this is a hard question! I would have to say Jennifer L Armentrout – I fell in love with pretty much all her books this year, and she has a massive backlist I would love to get through one day.
Most anticipated book turned movie?
THE HATING GAME THE HATING GAME THE HATING GAME. The cast is literally perfect in my opinion and I have no idea if it’s coming out next year or the year after but either way I’m so excited!
Name a character that you wouldn’t mind sharing a kiss with at midnight (if there is one)
I can’t be the only one that cannot picture myself kissing a character right..? I’m gonna pick snuggles with Fleetfoot from Throne of Glass instead 🙂 🙂
What’s on your TBR for 2021? (Top 5 will suffice if its an extremely long list!)
The list is literally in the hundreds, guys. I have a post of my most anticipated 2021 releases coming up in the next couple of days, so stay tuned!
How many books do you hope to read in 2021?
There’s no way I will be able to do 200 again (thanks covid and furlough!) I would like to set my goal at around 75 I think.
Will you participate in the Goodreads Reading Challenge (or any others)?
Any New Year’s Resolutions? (bookish and otherwise)
I would like to read from a broader range of genres (although I say this every year, and still stick with fantasy and romance…) I would also like to read more classics and discover some underrated gems.
Happy reading (and happy new year!),
